Welcome to Our Crazy Adventure!

Welcome and Shalom Aleichem (Peace be to you),

This is a blog about myself Rebecca, my Amazing Hubby Steve, the 10 most crazy and wonderfully insane kids in the whole world on our sailing adventures.

We have embarked on ouradventure. First here in Australia then, hopefully soon, abroad.

We have never left home before and now we have packed up everyone and set sail!

We are from a small town where we have raised animals for food, from chickens to milking goats and even cattle. We thought that our lives were going to stay on the farm and then came the itchy feet.

So we have put caution to the wind and are now sailing the East Coast of Australia on our 43 foot boat.

Please join us on this craziest of adventures as we sail about and explore as many regions as we can.  We don’t know how long this adventure will take but it is destined to be full of fun and laughter and of course TOTAL AWESOMENESS!

Come and join the fun!

  1. I would love to have had your adventurous spirit 20 or 30 years ago. Live your dream.
Advice: try to obtain some video and editing equipment and open up a Patreon account. I am sure that you would find tremendous financial incentive in doing so. I bet one or two of your kids would find they have skills in this area that would benefit the family.
Best wishes for your continued joy and success.

  2. We were the ones flying the drone around your boat this morning – if you give me an email address I’ll email you a youtube link.

  3. Thanks for inviting us aboard! We went sailing around the world with our two kids many years ago. I can’t imagine doing it with ten children! But it will be fun to relive the adventure sailing along with you. We started off in California and sailed across the Pacific, stopping to spend around 8 months in Australia and loved it. Landed at Bundaburg, holed up in Mooloolaba while while our son got some in-class time in high school, then sailed along the Great Barrier Reef toward Darwin. Eventually we sailed out of there toward Christmas Island and Coco-Keeling. If you go that direction, check out the Chagos Archepelego in the Indian Ocean. When we were there the yachties had it all to ourselves, prime diving and prime dining on the beach with the occupants of about six sailing vessels from all over the world. Wishing you all fair winds and calm seas.

    1. WOW! Thank you Deborah. We don’t know where we will head right now, we are just enjoying the sail northwards. Your adventures must of been amazing. I would love to hear more. I have discovered that sailors are amazing people
