Hello all you beautiful people. I hope your days have been wonderful and fulfilling for you the last month or so.
I’m sorry I haven’t been around but things have been busy here. We are finishing a few renovations to our house but these are more fun than the average but I’ll talk more about that later.
We finally all have our passports – YAY!
Terrible picture but that’s all 11 Passports, so now there is nothing stopping us. We are ready to jet-set around the world. To say the kids are excited is an understatement. They loved getting their Passports and we let them open their own envelopes, which seem to make the experience even more exciting.
The other project that we are doing at the moment is adding a small toyroom to the upstairs bedroom. It is going to be even better because we have added a 19.8ft tube slide that goes from that toyroom to the bedroom downstairs. We have only just started the construction but it already looks amazing.
As you can see, we have it together and erected and now it is all about securing it in place and finishing the construction around it. Upstairs it is still being held by ropes as we finish securing it, the floor goes in next followed by the cladding on the roof. Then plaster and just finishing off (stopping up, painting, decorations, etc).
The theme is going to be a sailing ship with a porthole window on the right hand side next to the slide and a step where the kids can stand on and see out the window and a telescope and a ships steering wheel will be mounted. I will add more pictures as it progresses.
It looks like the kids heads are going to explode, they are so desperate to try it out but we have told them not till everything is secured. It should be able to be used by Saturday and they are counting down the days.
For me, the greatest excitement is knowing we are closer to our dream of travelling the world. I don’t know how but it is getting closer all the time. It’s so close now that I’m now dreaming about it. My whole desire is to take our family out of Australia and into the huge world around us, to see amazing sites but most of all, to meet all those amazing people. We want to learn from these people, learn how they see life and experience their own existence and help teach us. We can get so consumed in our lives here, it is easy to forget others and their lives. My personal dream is to see a lot of non-western countries and experience something so different from my own life and upbringing.
I know that this may not make sense to all, but I feel as though my calling, my purpose is out there. I don’t know what it is yet but I know it is calling to me. I have to follow that desire and I am very thankful that I have a family that is just as crazy and curious as me and wants to join me on this journey of discovery.
Thank you wonderful humans beings for being my strength and support. Your well wishes verbal or mental are propelling us forward to a life of self discovery. You are the reason we are able to do this, not through finance but through support and blessings (I don’t know what other word that fits better).
You are all amazing and our love stretches out to you all, flowing out to the Universe and coming back again 1000 fold.
Have the best life you can imagine.
Shalom and Cheers
